The Women’s Empowerment Unit in the College of Education at the University of Kufa, headed by liaison member Assistant Professor Dr. Ethar Al-Mayahi, held a scientific symposium entitled Women’s Empowerment in Education, with the aim of analyzing the reality of women’s educational empowerment in Iraq, and identifying the obstacles to women’s empowerment in society Iraqi, and identifying the most important factors influencing the process of empowering women in Iraq, and diagnosing scientific and service potentials in order to support women’s education, as well as raising awareness and understanding towards the role of women and men in the field of education. And discussing the role of Iraqi universities in empowering women educationally, and the reality of continuing education programs offered to women.
