Section Vision:

The Department of English was founded in the Faculty of Education / University of Kufa in 2009. It is one of the departments that grant bachelor’s degree in English language and literature. The Department of English is interested in teaching students the latest curricula in the fields of English language, literature and teaching methods. Students learn English language and literature through four levels of study. They study English grammar, grammar, essay writing and all English literature. They learn about the methods of teaching English and apply what they have learned from the modern methods of teaching students in secondary school.

Section Objectives:

1. The aim of this section is to qualify graduates with a bachelor’s degree in English qualified to meet the needs of the community of middle and middle school teachers, trained and trained in teaching English to work in the public and private sectors.
2. The department will be awarded a bachelor’s degree in English language and literature.
3. The department will open courses in English for multiple purposes serving all segments of the local community.
4. More than 500 students are currently studying in the Department. The aim is to prepare young academic cadres and assist them in obtaining the educational qualifications that enable them to work in various fields such as education, translation and public relations. This will give graduates a wider range of employment opportunities after graduation.
