The Department of Mathematics at the College of Mixed Education at the University of Kufa held a virtual scientific symposium on the history of religions in the civilization of Mesopotamia. It included a lecture by Dr. Khazal Al-Majidi from the Netherlands in which he dealt with the Mesopotamian religions of the prehistoric, Bronze, Iron, Classical and Sassanid eras, and pointed out that the prehistoric religions included six eras, beginning with the Yolite era and ending with the Neolithic era. The records provided a detailed explanation of the Sumerian, Akkadian, Babylonian and Assyrian religion in terms of (beliefs, myths, rituals, eschatology, morals, laws, sacred biographies, sects and mysteries.
