The College of Education at the University of Kufa holds a scientific research seminar on the role of the holy shrines in preserving the Quranic heritage
College of Education / Media … Under the auspices of the General Secretariat of the Hussaini Holy Shrine and the University of Kufa, the College of Mixed Education held a scientific research seminar entitled “The Role of the Shrines in Preserving the Qur’an Heritage” in cooperation with the Center for Reviving Cultural and Religious Heritage of the Holy Hussaini Shrine. In the presence of the President of the University of Kufa, Dr. Yasser Lafta Hassoun, the Dean of the College of Education, Dr. Sirwan Al-Janabi, and a number of academic and religious personalities.
The university president said in his speech that the holy shrines proved that they are from the people to the people, and that the visit of Al-Hussein is a ray of life that derives from it the meanings of values, principles and courage.
Praising the role of the holy shrines and their achievements in rehabilitating vital projects in various areas of life, for his part, Al-Janabi called for more joint scientific activities and activities between the university and the shrine to serve the educational process in Iraq.
