The Faculty of Education at Kufa University organizes a scientific symposium entitled “Educational and Psychological Guidance of Imam Ali (a.s.)”
Faculty of Education/ Information Section … Under the slogan ‘The heritage of Imam Ali (a.s.) inspires us with science and knowledge’, the Committee for Psychological Counselling and Educational Guidance at the Faculty of Education/ Kufa University has organized a scientific symposium entitled “Educational and Psychological Guidance of Imam Ali (a.s.)” The symposium aims to make participants acquire the concepts of guidance and familiarize them with the process of guiding of Imam Ali (a.s.). The symposium touched on the compatibility of Imam Ali (a.s.), which included the good relationship with the Creator, the Almighty, the society, the environment and the physical and psychological self. The seminar included a lecture by Prof. Abbas Noah al-Musawi, in which he talked about the objectives of Imam Ali(a.s.)’s guidance process, which comprises the mental health, the capacity for compatibility in the psychological, social, educational and academic sides, the ability to solve problems, achieve the self, free it from mental contradictions and enable it to face the social and material problems. Al-Musawi explained the necessary rules and principles for the guider during the guiding process in accordance with the steps proposed by Imam Ali (a.s.). The symposium suggested the need for compiling many books and carrying out master’s degree and doctorate studies dealing with this area, as well as preparing for a scientific conference dealing with Prophet Muhammed(a.s.)’s educational and psychological counselling.
