A symposium at the Faculty of Education about Arabicized expressions in the Holy Quran between supporters and opponents
    Faculty of Education/ Information Section … The Department of Quran Science and Islamic Education at the Faculty of Education/ Kufa University has held a symposium on Arabicized expressions in the Holy Quran between supporters and opponents. It was attended by a number of lecturers. Dr Faris al-Sultani, the head of the department, gave a lecture in which he showed that Arab learners did their best to study the Holy Quran and apprehend all types of its interpretations and know the meanings of its words starting from the lexicon to the study of grammar, morphology and rhetoric. Al-Sultani explained the differences among Arabic language scholars about the presence of Arabicized expressions in the Holy Quran such as Istebreq, Qistas, Firdous and Assirat.
